Atomic's Backland Tour is a practical and very light technical binding for alpine touring. Like all Backland gear, it's incredibly durable and easy to use: it has a patented front shoe assist system, so your boot is automatically positioned to lock in. Then, two separately operating rise wedges on the heel cup, so you can choose between 0°, 7°, and 13° positions in a single motion. In terms of performance, the Backland Tour is exceptional, with a 40mm wide binding for maximum power transmission to wide skis (which also reduces the risk of screw pullout). With brakes, it weighs only 400g per pair, is compatible with standard crampons and has a 50mm sole length adjustment range. Get ready to go hiking !
