After the Duke launched in 2007, the Tour F12 launched in 2009 and the famous Kingpin in 2014, Marker continues to innovate in touring bindings with the Alpinist launched in January 2018! After the success of the Marker Kingpin, 2 years of development led to the creation of the Marker Alpinist.
An ultralight insert binding that will again shake up the market with its technologies and features: 0° angle for walking on long approaches, and aids of 5° and 9° in addition. By lowering the wedge, you can switch from ski mode to the 5° wedge very quickly. And by turning the binding 180°, you go from 0° to 9° wedge mode with a simple stroke of the pole.
For the 2019/2020 season, Marker has made some changes: a more durable wedge system and brake system easier to use, anti-ice pads on the stop and heel and a Twin Spring® stop (2 springs) with 30% carbon reinforcement. The boot rests against the heel pad, which allows the ski flex to be respected with a 4 mm elasticity.
- Screw spacing of 38mm

- Weight: 245g (335g with brakes)
