SKI M6 MANTRA + BINDINGS MARKER KINGPIN 13 100-125MM BLACK/COPPER

The Bavarian brand Völkl presents a new generation of the iconic Mantra and Secret All Mountain Freeride skis. The new models offer more stability, liveliness, maneuverability and, best of all, greater versatility, making the mountain more fun on and off the slopes. This is mainly achieved through two of Völkl's latest innovations: the custom Titanal frame and the custom carbon tips. In addition to these new technologies, there is of course the famous 3-Spoke. This shape allows a tight radius in the middle of the ski, and wider spokes in the tip and tail for more stability at high speed. Custom Technologies by Völkl After the creation of a Titanal Frame on their predecessors, the M6 Mantra and Secret 96 feature the new Tailored Titanal Frame. Unlike the original design, the width of the Titanal in the tip and tail varies with the length of the ski. With this construction, in the longer lengths, there is more metal, increasing torsional stiffness, power transmission and damping for taller skiers. Conversely, the shorter the waist, the less Titanal there is, making the ski softer and more maneuverable that smaller skiers can take full advantage of the extra performance. In the middle of the ski there is still a 0.3mm thinner layer of Titanal. In addition, the new custom carbon technology in the tip plays a central role in making the M6 Mantra and Secret 96 new benchmarks in all-mountain skiing. Thanks to the directional carbon strands, the tip reacts precisely and directly to the entry of the turn, promoting a fast and stable reaction of the ski, especially on hard snow. As the skier moves through the turn, the torsional rigidity of the tip immediately transforms into a softer flex, ensuring a more playful ski.

The major elements in determining the ski size you should choose are: your  SIZE,  LEVEL and WEIGHT.
But there are other things to consider, the category of ski, the type of snow, the terrain and personal preferences are some of the things to consider.
The general rule is to choose a ski length that lies between your chin and the top of your head. Advanced and expert skiers can choose skis that are slightly longer than head height.
