SKI BLAZE 94 + BINDINGS MARKER ALPINIST 10 BLACK/TITANIUM

The introduction of the Mantra marked the beginning of Völkl's powerful freeride ski lines. For those who want to ski freely without any restrictions, but with total control and ease off-piste, and the ability to mount these skis for approach walks.

The new Blaze series adds another dimension to this idea. The concept of this ski is aimed at freeriders who ski instinctively and appreciate lively handling that is both agile and sporty. The Blaze 94 weighs only 1546g and is designed for an extremely wide range of use in all off-piste conditions.

A Titanal binding platform of only 0.3mm thick offers direct power transfer and quick thrust build-up when switching from edge to edge. This gives the ski a more direct response upon turn initiation. To preserve its flexibility and agility, there is intentionally no Titanal in the tip and tail. You'll benefit from the ski's faster, more direct response with less effort, especially on tighter, rougher terrain. The 3D Radius sidecut dramatically increases the ski's liveliness and maneuverability. The Blaze's construction is designed for skiers who like tight turns, but the 3D Radius sidecut and Hybrid Multilayer wood core in the tip and tail accommodate virtually any style of skiing.

An outstanding new feature is the Suspension Tip, which makes its debut in the Blaze series. This elastic rubber material on the tip and tail edges acts as a shock absorber whenever the ski comes into contact with the snow in windy or gear-damaged conditions. This shock-absorbing elasticity not only provides strength, but also offers exceptional off-piste flotation.

The major elements in determining the ski size you should choose are: your  SIZE,  LEVEL and WEIGHT.
But there are other things to consider, the category of ski, the type of snow, the terrain and personal preferences are some of the things to consider.
The general rule is to choose a ski length that lies between your chin and the top of your head. Advanced and expert skiers can choose skis that are slightly longer than head height.
