VOLKL SKI BLAZE 94 + SCOTT WARDEN 11 USED

The introduction of the Mantra marked the beginning of Völkl’s powerful freeride ski lineup. It is designed for those who want to ski freely without restrictions, while maintaining full control and ease in off-piste terrain, with the option to mount bindings for touring approaches.

The new Blaze series takes this concept even further. It is aimed at freeriders who ski instinctively and value lively, agile, and sporty handling. The Blaze 94 weighs just 1546 g and is built for an extremely wide range of off-piste uses in all conditions.

A Titanal binding platform of only 0.3 mm thickness provides direct power transfer and rapid energy buildup when transitioning from edge to edge. This gives the ski a quicker and more direct response when initiating turns. To preserve flexibility and agility, Titanal is intentionally not used in the tip and tail. This results in a faster and more responsive feel with less effort, especially in tight and challenging terrain. The 3D Radius sidecut significantly enhances the ski’s liveliness and maneuverability. While the Blaze construction suits skiers who enjoy short turns, the 3D Radius sidecut and Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore in the tip and tail adapt to virtually all skiing styles.

A standout new feature is the Suspension Tip, introduced in the Blaze series. This elastic rubber material along the edges of the tip and tail acts as a shock absorber each time the ski contacts the snow in windy or tracked conditions. This elasticity absorbs impacts, increases durability, and also provides excellent float in off-piste conditions.
