The Atomic Backland Expert CL ski touring boot is designed with Prolite construction, a Frictionless Pivot and a Carbon Loaded shell. The durable Boa® tightening system ensures a precise, effortlessly adjustable fit. It's the best value for a no-compromise Backland experience. It has excellent comfort with a softer liner and 90 flex. The Carbon Loaded shell material makes the bottom part a little stiffer and works perfectly with the Energy Backbone to restore power to the ski on the way down. Our Free/Lock 4.0 system keeps the shell and collar firmly in place when you switch to ski mode. An ingeniously designed boot makes ski touring much more fun.

Backland boots are only compatible with TLT style touring bindings that use traditional toe and heel pins.  Backland boots are not compatible with hybrid touring bindings, such as Shift MNC 10 and 13.
