SKI BLAZE 86 + BINDINGS MARKER SQUIRE 11 ID 90MM BLACK

The Blaze series, which was successfully introduced last year, has been expanded with a new 86 mm wide skate model available in four lengths. In addition to the proven 3D Radius Sidecut, the Blaze 86 features a wood core that runs the entire length of the ski from tip to tail. This construction not only reduces weight and increases the ski's liveliness, but also eliminates the need for plastic inserts - a modest, yet positive environmental benefit. Thanks to suspension elements integrated into the tip and tail contours, this model is able to cope with unfavorable snow conditions. The elastic rubber material applied to the tip and tail acts as a shock absorber and provides increased resistance to disturbance and optimized flotation.


The Blaze series is primarily designed to negotiate short, fast turns. However, its three different radii of curvature, combined with the hybrid multi-layer wood core that extends from tip to tail, are suitable for all types of riding and for even the most ambitious of uses. The Blaze 86 is particularly suitable for all-mountain skiers looking for sporty performance off the slopes and for classic freeriders and touring skiers who are willing to trade an extra 100 g for significantly improved gliding properties!

Thanks to its light weight, the Blaze is also popular as a freeride and touring ski. For this purpose, Völkl also offers specially adapted skins for all Blaze models in all sizes.
