Climbing skins  

This is probably the most important element when it comes to ski touring: the skins.

They are essential for climbing freshly covered slopes. Generally made of mohair and nylon, they ensure the grip between your skis and the snow. Sealskins are available in ready-to-use models for a specific ski model, or cut to size. With or without glue, the choice is yours.
